What is suprsonic?

What is 1 credit?

Credits are the universal unit for API usage. Each capability costs a different number of credits depending on complexity, ranging from 1 credit for simple operations (screenshot, email verification, SMS) to 5 credits for thorough scraping through anti-bot proxies. Capabilities with modes (search, scrape) let you choose the cost/quality tradeoff. Credits are only deducted on successful calls. Failed requests are free. What does 'unified' mean?

Your agent calls one API. Behind that single interface, suprsonic routes to the best specialized provider, picks the optimal one for each request, and falls back automatically if one fails. For enrichment, we merge data from multiple providers into one response. Your agent never deals with provider complexity.

Do I need to sign up for any providers?

No. suprsonic manages all provider accounts, API keys, and billing. You get one API key and one credit balance. We handle Firecrawl, SerperDev, Perplexity, Icypeas, Deepgram, ZeroBounce, and every other provider behind the scenes.

What happens if a provider goes down?

Automatic failover. Each capability has multiple providers behind it. If one is unavailable, the request cascades to the next. Your agent never sees the failure.

How do I connect my agent?

Three ways: MCP server (npx suprsonic-mcp for Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code), Python SDK (pip install suprsonic), or TypeScript SDK (npm install suprsonic). All use the same API key and same credit balance. See the API reference for full setup instructions and code examples.

Does suprsonic work with any agent or app?

Yes. suprsonic is a standalone API. Any application, script, or agent framework can call it with a Bearer token. It works with LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, Vercel AI SDK, or plain HTTP calls.

What happens if I use more credits than my plan includes?

API calls stop succeeding (402 error with a clear message). From Pro up, you can turn on credit overage in your account settings (opt-in only): past your plan's credits, calls keep working and each extra credit is billed at your plan's per-credit rate, which is shown next to the overage switch.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Sign up and your API calls start with a free 7-day trial of Pro, with 300 credits to try every capability. A card is needed to start it, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then in Settings, under Subscription, and pay nothing. If you keep it, Pro continues at its monthly price when the trial ends, with 2,000 credits a month. Start Pro anytime during the trial and it begins that day.

Do you offer enterprise plans?
